Scottburgh’s Crocworld Conservation Centre received a call about a Spotted Eagle Owlet that needed rescuing in Pennington where the owlet had jumped out of the tree hollow and couldn’t return back on its own. Ryne Ferguson, the Crocworld team’s Bird Curator, headed to the location and after inspection, safely returned the owlet to the hollow.
“This owlet is at an age where it is starting to explore and will soon be able to fly,” said Ryne Ferguson, Bird Curator of Crocworld Conservation Centre.
