Crocworld announces its exciting holiday programme

23 September 2021

With lockdown measures easing and holidays around the corner, Scottburgh’s Crocworld Conservation Centre is looking forward to welcoming visitors with a fantastic daily programme of animal feedings and informative demonstrations from 1 to 10 October. “This is a great time for families to get out in nature and explore our wonderful grounds which are home to a really fantastic assortment of wildlife. Crocworld is surrounded by an indigenous forest, with ample open space for visitors to meet some of our newest residents and enjoy the holiday programme on offer. The on-site Fish Eagle Café also serves great meals which can be enjoyed while taking in the ocean views!” The October holiday programme has daily feedings and demonstrations running from 10am to 3.30pm daily. First up is the snake demonstration and interaction at 10am. Nile Crocodile feedings take place at 11am and 3pm, followed by a juvenile crocodile handling half an hour later. At 2pm is the Marabou stork feeding (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) or the vulture feeding (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday). All Covid-19 protocols are in place at Crocworld and visitors are urged to wear masks, sanitise and follow family group social distancing regulations. In line with regulations, the centre and café are open from 9am to 4.30pm.
