Best 124th birthday bash for Crocworld’s Henry

Believed to be the world’s oldest known Nile crocodile in captivity, Henry, got the birthday celebration he deserved as Crocworld Conservation Centre and friends marked his momentous 124th birthday on 16 December. Here he has made some great friends, including the centre’s second-oldest and second-biggest Nile crocodile, Colgate (an impressive specimen himself!), as well as enjoying the company of his many wives. To celebrate, the guests were given cupcakes before singing Happy Birthday to a very content crocodile. The fun doesn’t stop here though, as Crocworld is running its holiday programme with daily demonstrations, feeds, and more. Plus, there’s the December raffle running at Crocworld – buy a ticket for R10 from Crocworld Curio Shop and stand a chance to win a wonderful kids' activity hamper of assorted goodies – including toys, an activity book, and tasty treats - valued at R1 000. The raffle draw will take place on 3 January 2025. While there, visitors can check out the WildED Crocworld Activity Book being sold designed by South African children’s conservation book author, Kayleigh Huysamen from Wild Kids Books SA.
